Ayosifam Integrated Service is an agro-allied company that conducts food processing agricultural business in Kwara State. Established in 2018, Ayosifam seeks to provide affordable and nutritious foods to local communities, particularly in the cassava value chain. In 2017, the company saw a production gap in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) market for processing cassava into high-quality garri and secured funds from the Bank of Industry in 2019 to purchase some basic traditional garri processing equipment and raw materials for producing some of its first garri and garri derivatives for resale.
With funding from the USAID/Nigeria in 2021, Ayosifam Integrated Service have trained one hundred (100) smallholder cassava farmers in Kwara state and built their capacity to increase productivity using improved technology and high-yield, disease-resistant cassava varieties and was able to expand its ability to off-take produce from the farmers and process cassava into garri in its Kwara-based factory by purchasing automated equipment to process and package high-quality nutritious garri.
The company also launched a new service called AyosifamHub, an online marketplace designed to connect cassava farmers with processors.
