Through the dedication of our extension agents and the invaluable support of Airsmat, a pioneering agricultural technology company, AyosifamHub has successfully registered and onboarded 500 farmers for carbon credit initiatives.
This landmark achievement underscores AyosifamHub’s commitment to environmental stewardship and economic empowerment within the agricultural sector. By facilitating access to carbon markets, these 500 farmers are now positioned to benefit from their sustainable farming practices, contributing to global climate action while generating an additional income stream.
The process involved extensive fieldwork by Kwara State Agricultural Development Programe trained extension agents, who worked closely with farmers to educate them about the benefits of carbon sequestration and guide them through the registration process. Airsmat’s cutting-edge technology and expertise played a crucial role in streamlining the onboarding, ensuring accurate data collection and verification necessary for carbon credit certification.
The successful onboarding of 500 farmers for carbon credit is a testament to our hard work and the powerful synergy created through our partnership with Kwara State Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Airsmat.
