Ayosifam successfully hosted its one-day workshop, “Harvest of Prosperity,” bringing together 20 dedicated smallholder farmers for a day of transformation, technology, and renewed hope.

Breaking the Barriers: AyosifamHub & Digital Access
The highlight of the day was the introduction of AyosifamHub. The room sparked with curiosity when farmers learned they could list their farm produce for free on the hub.
In an era where middle-men often eat into profits, the ability to showcase harvests directly to a wider market without any service charges felt like a game-changer. The participants raised numerous questions, eager to understand how this digital storefront could turn their hard work into better financial returns.
Bridging the Extension Gap
One of the most critical discussions cantered on the relationship between farmers and Extension Agents. We identified a common misconception: many farmers only seek out extension services when the government is distributing inputs or grants.
This “subsidy-only” connection has led to significant losses. Without expert direction, many are still stuck using outdated traditional methods in a modern climate, leading to avoidable crop failures.
