Milestone Alert: NAFDAC Officials Visit Our Kangile Factory to Inspect Solar Processing Operations

NAFDAC officilas visit to Ayosifam

Yesterday, June 8, 2026, marked a major milestone for Ayosifam Integrated Service Limited as we hosted official inspectors from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) at our factory in Kangile.

The purpose of this regulatory visit was a thorough, hands-on assessment of our production processes and state-of-the-art processing equipment. This inspection is a critical step toward securing official NAFDAC certifications for our highly anticipated products:

  • Ayosifam Fufu Flour

  • Ayosifam Cassava Flour

  • Ayosifam Sweet Potato Flour

Our team demonstrated our strict adherence to international safety and hygiene standards, particularly highlighting our 100% renewable parabolic solar technology used to dry our produce cleanly and efficiently.

The NAFDAC officials left deeply impressed with our processing innovations, and we are highly confident that Ayosifam Fufu, Cassava, and Sweet Potato flours will receive their formal certifications very soon!

What NAFDAC Certification Means for Our Community

Securing these certifications goes far beyond compliance; it directly accelerates our mission to build a food-secure and economically vibrant future.

1. Expanding Market Access and Trust

NAFDAC certification unlocks formal domestic markets and positions Ayosifam products to meet regional and global standards. This regulatory approval gives supermarkets, wholesalers, and final consumers absolute trust in the nutritional value and safety of our locally made, gluten-free flours.

2. Drastically Reducing Post-Harvest Losses

Cassava and sweet potatoes are highly perishable root crops that quickly spoil if left unprocessed. By operating our factory at full capacity with verified quality standards, we can continuously absorb bulk harvests from the field. This directly combats the 40% post-harvest loss that traditionally robs farmers of their yields.

3. Boosting the Economic Livelihoods of Smallholder Farmers

As market demand increases following our certification, we will be expanding our raw material sourcing. This ensures a guaranteed, predictable, and fair income for our growing network of over 2,000 smallholder farmers—especially rural women—directly translating agricultural growth into community resilience.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We want to extend our profound gratitude to the dedicated NAFDAC officials who took the time to rigorously audit our Kangile factory. Your guidance and commitment to public health ensure that local agribusinesses like ours can safely scale up to feed the nation.

We also thank our smallholders, partners, and loyal customers for standing with us on this journey. Stay tuned to our platform for the official certificate rollout!

No harvest wasted, no farmer left behind.
